The arrangment of the book is designed the student of architecture, either technical or lay, "with this end in view great care has been taken to present the photographs and drawings in a logical sequence, and in such a way as to make the reference from the photographs to the drawings as easy as possible... under each caption is given a reference to the pages on which may be found the drawings that explain the photographs."
