ERIC CHAIM KLINE
Traveling throughout the U.S. and Europe, Eric Chaim Kline has been dealing in old and rare books since 1980, while a graduate student in Jewish Studies at Brandeis University. Proprietor of several bookshops in Santa Monica from 1985 to 1994, Kline's current book space spans 15,000 square feet in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles, where he welcomes visitors by appointment. Kline exhibits at select book fairs, sponsors the annual Bibliography Award granted by the Association of Jewish Libraries, occasionally lectures on book collecting and Jewish studies, and is a member of ABAA, ILAB, AJL, AJS, CAJM and ARLIS.
Only a few thousand of our 150,000-volume holdings are cataloged for browsing and searching. We invite you to let us know your interests, so we can discuss books not yet listed online. We also maintain a choice selection of original works of art and photography.
Members of our staff speak German, Hebrew, Yiddish, Polish and French, and as chance would have it, most practice martial arts. The shop is home to the esteemed Friday Club, featured in a haGalil article (see link, below).
