Original light blue stiff wraps with black lettering and Olympiad emblem on cover, protected by modern mylar. Directions for the Opening Ceremony scheduled for Saturday, August 1st, 1936 in the stadium at the Reich Sports Field. The director of the procession was Major Feuchtinger.

Contains a detailed schedule for the opening ceremony starting a 1:15 p.m. with instructions for the transport of the participants from the Olympic Village to the Reich Sportfield, the arrival of the Saluting Company at the Maifield, and on to the Bell Tower, including the Honor Bataillion and the International Olympic Committee and Organizing Committee. The Führer's and the Reich Minister of the Interior's arrival at the Bell Tower at 3:48, followed by the Führer's inspection of the Battalion of Honor. The program includes various ceremonial activities leading up to the ringing of the Olympic Bell heralding the opening of the Games at 4:12 p.m..

At 4:14 the command "Participants, march!" is given and the nations enter the stadium. A list of all nations participating follows. At 5:03 the Olympic Flag is hoisted, salutes are fired and 30,000 pigeons are released to the fanfares by the trumpeters. At 5:05 the Olympic Hymn by Richard Strauss is played under his direction. At 5:11 the last torch runner enters the Stadium and lights the Olympic Fire, and the winner of the Marathon of the 1896 Olympiad hands the olive branch from Athens over to the Führer. At 5:21 the Olympic Oath is taken followed the Händel's "Hallelujah" Chorus. The flags of the participating nations are raised. At 6:00 p.m. the Führer leaves the stadium.

Two plans bound in at rear; the first illustrates the formation of the national teams for the parade at the Maifield, the second, a folding plan, illustrates the path for teams entering, and the final formation of the athletes of participating nations in the Maifield.
