Program of the first American tour of The Imperial Russian Ballet and Orchestra (Theodore Stier, Conductor) supporting the incomparable Mlle. Anna Pavlowa and M. Mikail Mordkin with a distinguished company of character dancers, by special arrangement with the Imperial Russian Government, and the Metropolitan Opera Company, New York. Repertoire includes Russian National Dances, Bohemian Dances, Hungarian Rhapsody, etc. and the ballets Giselle, and Arabian Nights. Illustrated with one additional full page and several smaller photographs of ballet scenes. Text contributions on the Russian Ballet, Giselle and a lengthy description of the plot of the Arabian Nights. Two advertisements on last page.

Wrappers reapired with japan tissue and reattached along spine with some medium chipping along edges and color cover plate with triangular four and a half inch chip. Inside cover with color bookplate of previous owner. Leaves detached from wrappers but all present. Some with tears, creases and ocassional minor chips to edges. Images and text still clean and vibrant. In fair condition overall. Protected in modern mylar. fair. Item #55304
