This survey, the English edition was published in 1906, provides a detailed account of Scott's architectural ideas and his interior designs for houses and gardens. It contains Scott's philosophical views as well as elaborations on design, and introduces Baillie Scott commissions. Profusely illustrated with 12 color, with tissue guards, and 92 b/w reproductions of house exteriors and interiors, including architectural plans and drawings.
