Three quarter red leather over marbled boards with gilt lettering and ruling on spine; raised bands. Bayntun Reviere binding, bound for bookseller Charles E. Lauriat Jr. of Boston. Decorative endpapers. Frontispiece engraving with tissue guard. Title page vignette.

With illustrations designed and engraved by George Cruikshank. Accompanied by the dialogue of the Puppet-Show, an account of its origin, and of puppet-plays in England. Printed by D. S. Maurice. Very light wear along edges. Some minor loss of gloss at top of back cover near spine.
