Charles-Edouard Jeanneret-Gris (1887-1965) used the pseudonym Le Corbusier. He was a Swiss-born architect, writer, sculptor, painter and modern furniture designer who is famous for his contributions to 'Modern Architecture'. In 1930 he became a French citizen.
