Half titles and titles in red and black; each volume with frontispiece and tissue guard; 50 illustrations reproduce photographs, prints, and drawings. Royal blue polished calf, boards triple ruled in gilt; gilt tooled spine with raised bands and morocco lettering pieces; inner dentelles; top edge gilt, other edges untrimmed as issued. Light wear and minor defects to covers; light to moderate foxing (mostly at the first and last several leaves), else a very good set, handsomely bound by Zaehnsdorf.
