Decree providing guidelines on four subject matters: 1. Decree for the Jewish residential district in Warsaw. 2. Decree regarding the recognition of the Old Catholic Church of the Utrect Union in the General Gouvernment. 3. Decree regarding the Methodist Church in the General Gouvernment. 4. Order No. 13 by the head of the department for foreign currencies in the General Gouvernment.

The decree on the Jewish Wohnbezirk (Ghetto) in Warsaw authorizes the district head to issue measures to maintain order in the Jewish district, including the appointment of the head of the Jewish Council for the district. It provides details regarding the transfer location Warsaw, maintaining contact to the head of the Jewish Council, defines the purpose and budget of the transfer location, and defines the tasks of the chairman of the Jewish district, including the drafting of a budget for the Jewish district. The latter requires the approval of the commissioner. The head of the Jewish Council was the engineer and senator Adam Czerniakóv. He served as a member of the Warsaw Municipal Council and was elected to the Polish Senate. After the German invasion he was made the head of the Jewish Council. The Ghetto was closed to the outside world on November 15, 1940.

The decrees for regarding the recognition of the churches treats the recognition process, the independence, constitution and church law, church assets, including its disposition, the installation and dismissal of the clergy, and divorce. Order No. 13 regulates issues regarding the import of Dutch Gulden. The Decree is printed in German and Polish. Lightly age-toned. Very good+ condition. Item #54735
