(Fasti in 2 parts appears in the second and fourth volumes, each with separate full titles dated 1815 and 1820). Woodcut cartouches (arms of the University of Oxford) at section headings throughout; woodcut cartouche (arms of Lord Grenville) at dedication; 10 woodcut armorial initials (Anthon a Wood; Philip Bliss; Bishop Kennet; Bishop Tanner; Merton College; St. John's College; Thomas Baker; Bishop Barlow; Bishop Humphreys; Sir Philip Sydenham). Contemporary half black calf over marbled boards. Spine with raised bands, lettered and tooled in gilt. Marbled edges and endleaves. Green silk ribbon markers. Mild shelf wear to boards, and touches of light wear at the joints and extremities, occasional faint touches of foxing at outermost leaves, light-moderate foxing at ten pages in the Fasti (vol. II), else a fine set with unusually fresh, clean text, handsomely bound.

Complete set of the augmented third edition, a notable achievement and "the only bibliography of its kind published in England, and the most extensive anywhere." Breslauer and Folter go on to note the unexpected dangers lurking behind the scenes of bio-bibliographical production: "The work earned the author expulsion from the University for a libel it contains on the first Earl of Clarendon."
