Contains a thirty-two pages insert with designs and text by Herbert Bayer on advertising design, and Percy Seitlin on Herbert Bayer, including photomontages, designs and typography by Herbert Bayer. The PM Art Squad section features a woodcut by Sol Sobel, block prints by Irene Lippman, Sobel, Ruth Lesnick, S. Wieder, Herman Letterman, Anthony D'Esposito, Rosalind Fabian, twelve wood engravings by Fritz Eichenberg and seven by Joseph Blumenthal. In addition, the magazine features various high quality offset reproductions of artwork by various artists.

Contains advertisements at rear, including a four page, folded paper for Strathmore Staple Papers with a color chart containing twenty-two color samples pasted down, rendered in lithography. Extraordinary issue of PM Magazine with expert contribution and superb reproductions of artwork. Typography by the Composing Room, Inc., photoengraving and cover by Reliance Reproduction Co. The engravings for the Herbert Bayer insert by the Horan Engraving Co., and printed in letterpress by the Whitney Press. Covers slightly age-toned and light wear along edges.

Covers lighyl sunned, with some light rubbing to the extremities of the wrappers. Hinges of spine loosening, with a 2.5 strip missing at the head of the spine. Bottom right corner of the front cover chipped. Book block tight overall, with interior extremely clean. Wrappers in good-, inteiror in near fine condition overall.
