A scarce commemorative and promotional publication, produced on the occasion of the 18th Zionist World Congress, held August 23- September 4th 1933 (although the title page here states 8/23-8/30). The first section contains printed statements welcoming the congress delegates, from figures in the Czech government, including prime minister Tomáš Masaryk, foreign minister Edvard Beneš, commerce secretary Josef Matoušek (1876-1945) as well as statements from Jewish leaders to the Czech government and people from Rabbi Stephen S. All the statements are accompanied by a b/w photographic portrait of the respective figure. Following this is a two-page spread showing b/w sketches of the heads of the Jewish Agency attending the conference, including Sir Herbert Samuel, Albert Einstein, Chaim Weizmann, Scholem Asch, Vladomir Jabotinsky, Oscar Wassermann, Felix M. Warburg, Sir Alfred Mond, Menachem Ussishkin and Nahum Sokolow.

The folowing text promoted trade/business relations with Czecholslovakia, inclusing extensive photo-illustrated sections on the History of Jews in Czechoslovakia, tourism in Czechoslovakia, Czech airlines, and all manner of Czech business and industry. Text interleaved throughout with period illustrated and photo-illustrated multi-lingual advertisements. B/w photographic reproductions throughout, showing Czech and Prague locations, landscapes, industry, important locale political figures and captains of industry (also shown are locations in Jewish Prague).

This publication served as the basis for the very similar work published by Pollak the following year, on the occasion of the International Levantine Fair of 1934 in Tel-Aviv (also titled "Czechoslovakia - Palestine"). That publication (bilingual in Hebrew and English) was used to promote Czech business interests and tourism in Palestine, using mostly the same text and visual content as this work, only slightly reworked with an altered layout. Two editions of that work were printed (1934 and 1935).
