With brief texts on origin, value, distribution, form and production of script and healing tokens, followed by a brief text on these objects "Made in Germany," their application and usage as well as their legal protection. The following 24 Japan Fold pages contain color and b/w lithographs of fifty designs, including coporate trade marks, signs with religious and educational meaning as well as crests, and various fields of the market and public life, e.g. the Red Cross or the owl as a sign for deep and unremitting study. The designs are printed to recto and verso of each fold with a protective leaf inserted in fold. This section if preceeded by a text page reading: "Pivotal for Success in Busines is, next to quality, the paramount brand."
Gallery of famous and not so well known symbols created by Wilhelmswerk. This catalog includes the designs of the Red Cross, Swastika, Lloyd-Einhorn, Kolibri, Deutsches Reichswappen, Deutsche Werkkunst (Carl Ernst Hinkefuss), among others. Only a few of the symbols were slightly altered to fit into the overall frame of designs from Wilhelmswerk. All of those symbols are well known and recognizable without commentary.
Text in German. Glassine with chips and closed tears, predominantely along spine. Dustjacket with light wear along edges, small chips and closed tear at tail of spine, head with small chip.
