The plates exhibit a wide variety of traditional floral an arabesque motifs for exterior and interior doors, windows, balustrades, tables, ramps, grilles, storefronts, tables, screens, etc., rendered in b/a lithography. The designers and ironworkers include Jean Prouvé, Charles Piguet, Eric Bagge, Adolphe Prost, Baguès Frères, Raymond Subes, René Gobert, F. Alexandre, Raingo, Georges Vinant, Edgar Brandt, Ed. Schenk, J. Schwartz, Richard Desvallières, J. and J. Martel, Schwartz-Haumont, Mozer, Paul Kiss, Malatre & Tonnelier, H. Morand & Cie, Stefan Balala and others.

Text in French. Portfolio with some wear along edges, matching library tape (2 1/2 x 6") reinforcing spine at top. Joints of spine partially and lightly split with light fraying at tail of spine. Silver design with some flaking. String-ties with some fraying and top string at bottom cut off with one and a half inch remaining. Back cover with light scuffing at bottom near spine. Stamp of the architect Marlay W. Lethly on inside front cover. Plates lightly age-toned in margins, not affecting images. Good- to very good condition. Item #51505
