Photo-illustrated paper boards, with white lettering on the front cover. This is copy #72, from a limited edition of 700 copies, hand-numbered and stamped with the photographer's chop at the bottom of the colophon at the rear. This work by Japanese photographer Akio "L.A." Tomari (b.1955) show's his subtle eye for the textures of interiors and exterior environments, small everyday objects, as well as large and small structures, both man-made and natural. Includes landscape images as well as still life, all captured in natural light. The work includes a total of 70 photographs throughout, finely reproduced in color images, all listed with their titles at the back of the book. Also included is a poem by Hiroshi Ichikura. Minimal text in Japanese, with some English translation.
Slipcase with some light sunning along the edges. Binding with some light smudges on the back cover. Slipcase in very good, binding in very good+, interior in near fine condition overall. Scarce. vg to near fine. Item #50893
