Catalog of the retrospective exhibition on dance in painting and sculpture from May 23 to June 25th 1933 in Paris. Preface by Pierre Courthion. The exposition included sixty-seven artworks, including paintings by Hieronymous Bosch, Antoinne Watteau, Jean-Baptiste Tiepolo, Egard Degas, Paul Cezanne, Paul Gaugin and others, sculptures by Egard Degas, Claude-Michel Clodion and others, and a Spanish tapestry based on a motif by Goya. Illustrated with eighteen b/w reproductions of artwork indicating the owners at rear. Minor wear along edges of covers, these lightly age-toned, interior fine. Very good+ to fine condition.
