A scarce edition of the complete machzor (prayer book) for all holidays and festivals, according to Ashkenazi custom, printed in two parts by Zvi Hirsh ben Hayim mi-Fyorda, the known prolific printer from Fürth, Bavaria. The first volume contains prayers for the full calendar of Jewish holidays, festivals, fasts and special readings, except for the High Holidays and Sukkot, which are located in the second volume. Both the first and second volumes contain sections of small illustrated woodcut vignettes based on the twelve tribes and their corresponding astrological symbols.

Binding with some light scratches and some abrasions to the covers. Light rubbing to edges and corners with chipping to the bottom right corner of the back cover of vol.1. Both claps on the first volume are broken, with the metal hooks missing, one hook is missing on the second volume. Interior gutter reinforced with thick library tape. Title pages re-margined and/or repaired. The title of vol.1 with the sides, as well as top and bottom reinforced, covering much of the woodcut images save the central column. Vol.2 with more of the woodcuts showing, but with some tears and holes reinforced. A few sporadic pages throughout each volume have been repaired, mostly in the margins, with some occasional minor loss of text. Sporadic minor to light stains and age toning.
