Summary of the points to be discussed, based on the questionaire Nr. 11. The regulations for the right to build are discussed in regards to two groups: a) professionals approved by the state and b) all those who adhere to the regulations. Text in French. Illustrated with fifty-six architectural proposals with numerous illustrations, layouts and architectural plans. Contributions by Böhm-Kaufmann (Frankfurt), S. Giedion (Zurich), W. Gropius (Berlin), Le Corbusier (Paris), R. J. Neutra (Los Angeles) and Karel Teige (Prague). First attempt to examine the productivity of various architectural styles: flat-roofed building, midlevel and superstructure architecture, including mixed architectural styles.

The fifty-six architectural proposals in this publication include architectural plans and b/w photographs as well as specification relating to social assignment, living elements, traffic, available building plots, number of apartments, habitable living area, price of land, etc. and built in various European countries. First edition Quarto. 118 (2)pp. Original wraps illustrated with photomontage and b/w lettering on cover, black on spine, protected by modern mylar. Contains first and second basic report on principal solutions in city planing by Le Corbusier and José Luis Sert, Spanish architect and city planner. CIAM (International Congress for Modern Architecture) was founded in 1928 and disbanded in 1959. It was focusing on architectural issues such as landscape, urbanism, industrial design and others.

With contributions by various architects (Helena Syrkus, Poland, Virgile Bierbauer, Hungary), engineers (P. Lenoir, J.-P. Faure), politicians (Stanislas Tolwinski, Colonel Vauthier), economists (Francis Delaisi), among others, and collective presentations by groups from the Netherlands, England, Italy, Algeria and Hungary. Reports by commissions: 1. Principle Solutions, 2. City Applications, and 3. A Proposal to address the problems of the countryside (Rural town planning) at rear.
