New series of forty color heliotype drawings in the original format. The eighteen reproductions of Rembrandt drawings are the center of this collection covering all periods of his work. Among the works of Rembrandt's students are drawings from Jacob van Dorsten, Govert Flinck, Samuel van Hoogstraaten and Claes Moeyart. In addition the portfolio contains works from Ter Borch, Brouwer, Buytewech, van Goyen, Cornelis Visscher, Dusart, both Ostades, Saftleven, van Uden, van Borssom, van der Cooghen, Sweets and Verwer. All heliotypes tipped to light blue plates. Contains section with descriptions of works included as well as a list with artists and titles.
