Tan string-tied wrappers with gilt lettering, gilt emblem at the top of the front cover. Published in honor of the hundredth anniversary of the founding of Baltimore Hebrew Congregation Nidchei Yisrael, and issued in conjunction with celebrations occurring between 31st- February 2nd, 1930. Originally founded in 1830, the congregation is the oldest in the state of Maryland. It started out in the Orthodox tradition but became a Reform synagogue in 1871. Included here are a list of events throughout that weekend including religious services. The majority of the printed pages contain the program for the culminating event of the celebrations, a theatrical production by members of the synagogue, titled "Followers of the Light - An Epic of the Synagogue". Contains a number of b/w photographic reproductions throughout, including images of the Rabbi Morris S. Lazaron, the President and the Cantor George Casetelle, as well as images on the interior and the facade of the building. Wrappers with some smudges, rubbing to extremities, water staining and sunning. Interior with some light to moderate water stains and rippling to the edges of pages throughout.
