Original light brown heavy paper portfolio (8 1/2 x 5") with black lettering and ruling on cover and a small color cube pasted to front cover, housing printed mixing table and ten color tone cards (all 8 1/4 x 4 3/4"). Each color tone card contains thirty color chips (5/8 x 1" ), numbered and framed in black print, pasted to the grid, verso blank. The additional plate, the mixing table, printed in black, indicates the colors mixed together to produce the respective shade of each of the three hundred chips pasted to the color cards. Text in German. Stamp of German architect Karl Hebecker in upper right corner of front cover of portfolio. Portfolio with minor sunning. Plates in near fine condition.
