Each volume beautifully illustrated with pasted down color reproductions of manuscripts in text and an extensive part of reproductions in b/w at rear. The Ludwig collection was sold en bloc to the Getty Museum via Zeitlin & Ver Brugge Booksellers. It was the largest private sale of a book collection at the time.
