Sections on contemporary architecture between 1934 and 1944 featuring George How & William Lescaze, Eliel & Eero Saarinen, Robert F. Swanson, Philip L. Goodwin & Edward D. Stone, Albert Kahn, John Yeon, among others, along with a contribution on housing production in war and peace, and finally community planning in the Tennessee Valley and Chicago. All contributions are profusely illustrated with b/w photographs and architectural plans. Some of the photographs by architect Aino Aalto.
