This is a collection of Hebrew poetry by Yacov Ferman (1881-1960)*. The collection contains a total of 68 poems divided into five sections, titled "Other Days", "Grief Vision", "Determined", "The Cup of Adam", and "Visit Until Evening" respectively. Table of contents at the rear. Wrappers with some rubbing and chipping to extremities, including the spine. Front cover with a few light stains. Back cover and edges of book block with some foxing. Interior with some minor sporadic water stains and/or smudges. Otherwise clean. Wrappers in good, interior in very good- condition overall. g to vg-. Item #46918

*Yacov Ferman (1881-1960) was a Ukrainian-born Zionist activist, poet, writer, art scholar, critic and collector, who emigrated to Palestine in 1919. There, among many endeavors, he worked as a promoter of the arts, establishing and managing the first art gallery in Tel-Aviv, called the "The Perpetual Art Exhibition in the Land of Israel", establishing the art collective 'Tomer', and founding the Neve Sha'anan neighborhood in Tel Aviv. His personal library and art collection was renowned.
