Tipped-in printed blue slip with appeal for donations. The Caritas Association is a charitable organization of the Roman-Catholic German Church. The author paints a bleak picture of the hardship incurred through the enormous efforts of Germany regarding reparations. It cites the devaluation of the German money as one of the main problems causing hunger and poverty as well as housing shortages. The pamphlet gives examples from various cities and highlights the misery of children and the elderly; includes statistics. Illustrated with numerous b/w reproductions of photographs and many tables.
