Originally published between 1756 and 1759, this monumental work is a catalogue of all the Oriental manuscripts housed in the Vatican library.

The first volume is a catalogue of the Hebrew and Samaritan manuscripts; the second and third volumes lists all the Chaldean and Syriac manuscripts.

This facsimile edition is one of 300 copies numbered and signed (third volume only) by the publisher, of which the second volume is No. 269, the third is No. 60. The first volume is unnumbered.

Ex-library copy, with reference sticker at upper front joint and tail of spines, stamp at top and bottom paper edges, bookplate on inside of each front cover and printed notice at rear. Text in Latin. Binding and interior in overall very good condition. vg. Item #46669
