This is a Yiddish translation of Anatole France's children's book "Flowers" (Fleurs). The cover features an illustration in green and purple by Haim Goldberg (1888-1943, aka Haggai) and charming b/w illustrations throughout by acclaimed French children's illustrator Louis-Maurice Boutet de Monvel (1850 – 1913). Title page with b/w illustrated portrait of the author.

Cover and a few pages throughout with ink stamp of the publisher "Kultur-Lige" and "Archive". Front cover with some light stains, smudges and abrasions. Spine rubbed and splitting. Back cover with smudges. Title page with ink stamps and markings in ink. Some pages throughout with sporadic light smudges and/or pencil markings. Pages age toned.
