The publication is issue #1652 of the of the promotional supplement to the German weekly, Illustrierter Film-Kurier, promoting the release of the 1931 German film adaptation of Alfred Döblin's acclaimed 1929 novel, "Berlin-Alexanderplatz", starring Heinrich George. The film was a production of Cine-Allianz, and was produced by Arnold Pressburger. The booklet is profusely illustrated throughout with b/w photogravure images and photomontage, depicting scenes and characters from the film. Text throughout, including cast and crew credits, in German.
