The catalog of medical, surgical and hospital supplies from Wm. Hatteroth's Surgical House is profusely illustrated with more than 1,000 figures printed mostly lithographically in b/w, with a few being photographic reproductions. Products include all manner of medical equipment, ranging from ophthalmological and surgical instruments, casts and strait jackets to larger scale items for hospitals including x-ray machines, power generators and transformers as well as furniture. The final sixteen pages include a detailed index, arranged alphabetically. The double-sided photo-illustrated frontispiece contains portraits of William Hatteroth and W.H.C. Hatteroth, the heads of the company, on the front, and back contains photographic reproductions showing the company's offices and shop. The frontispiece is followed by an errata sheet.
