Collection featuring beautifully produced menu cards from the first half of the 20th century, housed in red faux;eather binder. It includes menus for special occasions, e.g. the a memorial of the Aviation Division 67/A 281, dated August 20, 1925, the Royal Dinner at Douai, France, on June 30, 1916, printed menu cards with guests handwritten onto the card for Étienne Clementel, former Minster of the French colonies, a printed illustrated announcement, and envelope, of the birth of the daughter Denise Louise on 4th of March, 1911 by Mr. and Mrs. Alexis Tumbeuf with additional envelope, addressed by hand and postmarked, and a printed menu card for a wedding, dated 16. March 1929, with floral chromolithograph at top.

Two menu cards feature original etchings, one by the architect and graphic designer Adolf Kunst (signed A. Kunst in pencil) for the Aviation Division, the other by painter, graphic designer and illustrator Herbert Bartholomäus (HB in plate, see Nagler "Monogramm-Lexikon, p. 312) for a generic menu card with intricate decorative framing.

Menus for cruises of the Hamburg-Amerika Linie, the Holland-America Line, and other German lines, cruises with the NS Community "Kraft durch Freude," blank menu cards distributed by various companies to their clients in the hotel and restaurant business, some with handwritten menus, a Hotel Adlon menu with an impressive embossed gilt Adlon logo, an exquisite menu card featuring the "paladin of the grail," a chromolithography with silver overprinting for the Liebig bouillon company. The Holland America Line features sepia toned lithographic reproductions of works by Dutch painters and the Hamburg South America Line Mediterranean motifs.
