Nürnberg: Printed at Graphische Kunstanstalt Felix Reusche, 1938. First edition. Softcover. Oblong Duodecimo. 4pp., one plate laid in. Original illustrated color wraps featuring German Eagle and Swastika with gray and white lettering on cover. Text printed in red and black. This four page pamphlet contains a printed address by Adolf Hitler, an overview of the successful fundraising by the organization, regulations and recommendations regarding the process of the donation, and requirements in order to receive a WHW badge for workers and businessmen. Laid in a printed form with details for the submission of the donation, including address of the donor, respectively the number of members in each business and how many of them are willing to obtain a badge. The donations were collected by agents of the WHW going from door to door.
The appeal by Hitler suggest not to exclude oneself from this effort that enables the participants to stand in front of the people and say: We live National Sozialism not as a theoretical phrase but in reality! The sacrifice making a donation is a badge on honer! The Gau agent Rackelmann stresses the 85 Million Reichsmark were collected in only seven districts (Gaue) of the repatriated areas in the East to preserve the health of the German people. Details on the thir page for the implementation of this campagne include the request for data on how many Volksgenossen (Members of the NSDAP) are employed. Domestic help and maids are to be included. and finally: A donation for "Adolf-Hitler-Donation of the German Economy" doesn't absolve from participation in the WHW. The last page contains details about the requirements to obtain badges for workers on one hand and businesses on the other. Text in German, Gothic script.
