Tan label with black lettering pasted on the spine. This is #69 of a limited edition of 100 copies. The portfolio was self-published, and includes 11 loose plates (a title plate + 10 woodcuts). Each plate depicts a scene from a Yiddish poem, is signed in pencil by Hirsch, and measures approximately 18.5x13". One of the woodcuts is multicolored, and one is in "two-color".
The titles of the plates are: 1. Volkslied, 2. Datsche, 3. Erschiessung, 4. Nocturno, 5. Treppe, 6. Gespräch, 7. Kutscher, 8. Porträt, 9. Liebespaar, 10. Requiem.
