The publication is one of a limited number of 500 unnumbered copies printed on large paper. Pages uncut. The work serves a poem in memorial tribute to the deceased poet Arthur Henry Hallam, a close friend of Tennyson, and is written in iambic tetrameter. Bookplate of the previous owner, Thomas Myles Sandys at the interior front cover, with an inscription on the title page and a letter laid in (dated 1893), both addressed to Sandys. Binding with some light wear to the head & tail of spine, corners and along the bottom edge. Interior with minor foxing to the rear endpapers and interior back cover. Binding in very good-, interior in very good condition overall. Item #42384
