Collection of 8 Anti-NS-Leaflets and Adhesive Stickers

NP: NP, 1945. First edition. Loose_leaf. Drastic anti-NS propaganda generated and distributed as leaflets and stickers in protest of the Hitler regime before the end of W.W.II in Spring 1945. The tenor of the propaganda is indicative of the foreseeable end of the Third Reich when the Volkssturm, a national militia, was established on orders of Hitler by the Nazi Party, months before the end of the war: "Der Schuldige (The Culprit)," "Hitler Himmler an den Galgen (Hitler Himmler to the Gallows)," "Hitler's Tod Deutschland's Leben (Hitler's Death Germany's Life)," a march song on a sheet with text and scores "Das neue Deutschland. Neues Leben blüht aus den Ruinen.. (The New Germany, new life blossoms from the ruins...)," "Volkssturm SOS der SS (National Militia SOS of the SS)," "Deutsches Wörterbuch 1945: Verdammter, Verfluchter, Verbrecher, Ver Führer, Vernichten, Verscharren, Vergessen (German Dictionary 1945: Condemned, Accursed, Criminal, Seducer, Destroy, Bury, Forget)," "Friede über Deutschland (Peace over Germany)," and a caricature on a narrow paper strip showing the degeneration of Hitler in four drawings of declining stages in 1942, 1943, 1944, and 1945.

Leaflets and stickers are in varying sizes and paper stock. All but the "German dictionary 1945," printed with the same imagery and text on both sides, are blank on verso, three of them with original adhesive. Minor chipping and creasing of three items. In very good to fine condition. vg. Item #41511
