An analysis of the German economic structure after the German election of September 1930. In his introduction Diehl points to the condition of the German electorate after this election stating that around eleven of thirty-five million voters opted for radical parties in this election, either communists or the Nazi party (6 1/2 million). He concludes that one third of the electorate has lost all hope that the established parties will be able to lead Germany out of the economic crisis. In addition Diehl points to the app. eight million voters who voted for the Social Democrats with a program more or less sympathetic to the Russian system of the "Dictatorship of the Proletariat" hence arriving at a majority of Germans having doubts about the the abilities of the parties in power. Includes short bibliography and advertisement of a Silvio Gesells publication at rear. Text in German. Light wear along edges of wraps and lightly rubbed with light soiling on back cover. Paul Diehl was a German film producer, director and author. From 1948–1960 he was mayor of Gräfeling, a municipality in the district of Munich. Diehl was follower of the ideas of Silvio Gesells of the natural economic order (Freiwirtschaft). Diehl became a member of the national board of the Association based on Gesells ideas (Freiwirtschaftsbund).
