Patriotic Polish underground journal, edited by Stanislaw Jezewski (1898-1989). Jezewski was a school teacher at Ostrowiec and established a secret, underground school during the occupation of Poland. He conducted clandestine activities in the Polish army and was a member of "Armia Krajowa, the Polish resistance movement. Jezewski served as the chief of the Press and Propaganda Department of the Opatowski district (Referatu Prasy Obwodu Opatowskiego). This is where he edited underground publications like this bulletin. He was denounced by a comrade and had to hid from the German authorities but continued his clandestine activities. Extremely rare underground publication from the occupied Poland. No records in OCLC. Text in Polish. Vertical fold in middle of pamphlet with one inch closed tear at bottom. Stapled block loosened from covers. Light wear along edges. Some age toning. Wraps and interior in overall good condition. g. Item #40403
