Compilation of four proposals by six students for staged development alternatives for the Judah L. Magnes Memorial Museum generated by a Graduate Architectural Class at the University of California, Berkeley, under supervision of Sami Hassad, Ph.D., AIA, Professor of Architecture. Includes detailed description of the museum buildings and grounds. "In preparation for the work of the class, the museum staff prepared a detailed description of the present collections, of the problems encountered by the staff, and of the projections for expansion in each department." (Sami Hassid). The four resulting proposals by Paul M. Chu and Dean Aron Tatsuno, Scott Colt, Wes Heitzman and Gerald Stein, and D'jamshid Otarodifard are presented here, including b/w photographs of the models, brief descriptions of each proposal with tables and architectural drawings.
