Full page advertisements on inside covers. Frontispiece engraving of the grand dining hall. The cover engraving of the booklet depicts the majestic Frankfurter Hof, a four story hotel with 252 rooms built by the architects Carl Jonas Mylius and Alfred Friedrich Bluntschli. The building features a clock tower and colonnades bordering the street. The colonnades in front of the two wings of the hotel house various businesses, e.g. a travel agency, a post office, newspaper stand, hairdresser, a gallery with a permanent exhibition of bicycles, etc. The elaborate description on of the building itself is followed by a tour guide featuring the Palm Garden, various museums and art collections, notable buildings in Frankfurt, churches, synagogues, etc. concluding with suggestions for day trips into the surrounding areas. The latter part of the booklet is filled with illustrated and plain advertisements of Frankfurt businesses. Text in German. Wrappers with light wear along edges and rubbed.
