A talmudic commentary on the tractates Brakhot and Beitza by the famous 18th century scholar R. Ezekiel Landau. He also wrote on the tractate of Pesahim. These works were first printed in Prague in 1791 and 1799. A later edition was printed in Sudilkov in 1831. Text is printed with double columns and with Rashi script. R. Ezekiel Landau served as the chief rabbi of Prague. He was involved in a number of controversies regarding the Haskalah. He is best known for his collection of responsa "Noda B'Yehudah." Text in Hebrew. Spine badly chipped. Corners rubbed. Some chipping and rippling to leaves, but overall they are in very good condition. Text in good condition. g. Item #37851
