The "Illustrierter Beobachter" was a weekly propaganda magazine, published from 1926 to 1945 by the NSDAP publishing house Franz Eher Nachf. in Munich. The official NSDAP daily newspaper was the "Völkischer Beobachter," the "Illustrierter Beobachter" was the illustrated weekly version. Published in the fall of 1932, this special edition of the "I. B" is a violent attack against Chancellor von Papen's emergency decree embodying a plan for economic recovery. Indeed, instead of the expected recovery, unemployment again increased after being stationary for two months.* Folding marks at center. Text in German.
