München: Franz Eher Nachfolger GmbH, [1932]. First edition. Paperback. Folio. Unpaginated. [4]pp. Original photo-illustrated wrappers, with photomontage on both covers. Scarce National-Socialist election pamphlet published around October/November 1932 for the German Federal elections that were held on 6 November 1932*. This pamphlet accuses the German Communist Party (K. P. D.) to steal from and betray the working class and urges the workers to leave the K. P. D. and join the Nazis. It also draws a nightmarish portrait of the Soviet Union, the “worker’s paradise,” as it depicts Soviet women demonstrating while their children are dying of hunger, the social betrayal in the Soviet Union (with the emergence of a communist bourgeoisie), the mass murders, the torture, and the hopeless poverty of the entire population. Closed tears and minor chipping along fore-edge. Folding mark at center. Text in German. Pamphlet in overall good- to good condition. g- to g. Item #37588

* The 1932 German Federal elections saw a significant drop for the Nazi Party and increases for the Communists and the national conservative DNVP. It was the last free and fair all-German election before the Nazi Machtergreifung on 30 January 1933, as the following elections of March 1933 were already accompanied by massive suppression, especially against Communist and Social Democratic politicians. The next free election was not held until August 1949 in West Germany; the next free all-German elections took place in December 1990 after reunification.
