This remarkable illustrated work by Karel van de Woestijne (1878-1929), a Flemish writer who was strongly influenced by the Tachtigers and the French Symbolists (Baudelaire, Henri de Régnier and Jules Laforgue) contains 6 full-page woodcuts, and 2 initials by Jozef Cantré. One of 110 copies, of which this is No. 35. Spine sunned and partly creased. Previous owner's inscription on half-title, and dated 1926. Text in Flemish.
