The Deutsche Arbeitsfront (German Workers Front) was a fusion of workers unions and employer association during the time of National Socialism, established in 1933 after dissolving the Worker's Unions and abolition of the right to strike. The publication conveys the technical and architectural basics cafeterias and kitchens of commercial companies. Profusely illustrated with professional b/w photographs providing detailed descriptions of the interiors of cafeterias and kitchens, including floor plans and architectural drawings. Part three covers the facilities for self-catering of the workers with many photographs and individual images of workers in all aspects of their labor. Text in German. Wrappers with water stain 6 x 1" of binding at joint, rubbed with some smudge, small tears and creasing. Water stain penetrating first few pages and the upper left corner of some of the book block. Wrappers attached but starting at front endpaper. Front endpaper with with private library stamp and foxed. Text in German. Wrappers in overall fair, interior in good- to good+ condition. g-.
