Original brown Morocco with gilt ruling and lettering on cover, gilt lettering on spine; raised bands. Decorative endpapers. Illustrated title page, etching. Printed in a "one-time edition of 300 on the hand press at Poeschel & Trepte in Leipzig." Though only 100 were to be hand bound in leather, this number 136 is also bound in the original full leather binding. Illustrated with 11 enchanting etchings by Alois Kolb of which four are full page, including title page. Text in German, Gothic script. Binding with wear along edges, some light scuffing and very light fraying. Spine and one inch strip of cover sunned and faded. Binding in overall good-, interior in very good condition. g+.
