As a child Anne Frank hid with her family to escape the Nazis. Includes b/w photographs from a theater production of Anne Frank and an afterward by the early Holocaust historian Nahman Blumenthal. This book was one of three Yiddish translations printed in 1958. The other ones were printed in Buenos Aires and Bucharest. The diary itself was first printed in Amsterdam in 1947. It is widely seen as the most influential piece of literature regarding the Holocaust and has been translated into numerous languages.
