Studio Otto und Georg Haeckel

Berlin: 1910s. Photographs. Paperback. 7 1/4 x 5" - Two groups of original silver prints taken by Otto Haeckel (11) and the Brothers Haeckel (5). The 16 photographs depict Jewish life in Lithuania and Poland at the beginning of the 20th Century; portraits, e.g. of Rabbi Isaak Jakob Reines, family portraits, war time city street life in Lida and Lodz, and a small group showing traditional Jewish rites.
