[Germany]: NP, ca. 1934. First edition. Hardcover. Oblong elephant folio. Bolted half cloth over textured color paper-covered boards with black lettering on cover. Contains 300 highly-textured, multi-colored samples of wallpaper. First leaf with 19 mounted, heavily embossed smaller (app. 3" x 3") Lincrusta samples, remaining 281 samples measure 11 1/2" x 17". Lincrusta is a deeply embossed wall covering. Many of the 281 samples are in the Art Déco style, others have floral or uniform designs. Verso of each leaf with stamped sample number and price. Majority of samples were manufactured in the Leimdruck technique. Most likely the catalogue was not from a manufacturer but a large distributor, whose initials and phone number are on front cover "E. K. Ch. Tel. 21864." Minor staining on cloth. Overall very good condition. Scarce. vg. Item #31680
