The title character, Robinson Crusoe, is a castaway who spends 28 years on a remote tropical island near Trinidad, encountering cannibals, captives, mutineers, as well as other adventures before being rescued. Illustrated with color and b/w reproductions of paintings and drawings by Ernst Liebenauer, four illustrations by Karl Fahringer. "Nach dem englischen Original und älteren Übersetzungen bearbeitet von Ludwig Tesar." Text in German, gothic script. Minor age wear on boards. Front cover bowed.
