This work describes in detail and in vivid color, the exquisite French feminine fashion from 1792 to 1870. Each fascicule is complete in itself and contains 8 pages of text and 12 color pochoir plates. Some age wear on wrappers, with most covers being detached, but present. Age-toning and moderate chipping along edges. Minor creasing, age-toning and closed tears along paper margin. The last 2 plates of the ninth fascicule are chipped along edges (not affecting pochoir illustrations). Text in French. Wrappers in overall fair to good-, interior in good to good+ condition. fair.
