Rare "Gau Württemberg-Hohenzollern" edition, published by the NS-Gemeinschaft "Kraft durch Freude" (Strength through Joy). Kraft durch Freude was a large state-controlled leisure organization in the Third Reich which was a part of the German Labor Front (Deutsche Arbeitsfront - DAF). Set up by Dr. Robert Ley, the organization was a tool to promote the advantages of National Socialism to the broad masses. It became the world's largest tourism operator of the 1930's. Lists many vacation destinations with pricing in the Gau Württemberg-Hohenzollern. Profusely illustrated with reproductions of photographs drawings and sketches in sepia tone. Some creasing, age wear and minor foxing on wraps. "KDF 1938" handwritten on front cover. Bottom corner bumped, affecting first half of pages slightly.
